Hi,
I'm a designer based in New Zealand with extensive experience in design and art direction of digital products.
I focus on identifying, understanding, and solving UX problems using a human-centred design approach. I enjoy the challenge of gathering and transforming research, data, thoughts, and ideas into visually engaging, user-friendly, and accessible interfaces. I have a deep understanding of UX design methodologies, processes, and best practices, complemented by strong skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and solid foundation in front-end development ensuring visually compelling, technically feasible solutions that align with design vision and business requirements. I’ve spent over two decades working for design studios, tech companies, digital agencies, and large advertising firms, where I have been privileged to create, design, and art direct a wide range of media for notable clients and brands. While most of my career has focused on designing user interfaces and websites, I have also gained extensive experience in print design and branding, which enables a comprehensive and versatile approach to every project.
My process
Discovery
We work collaboratively to understand your goals, pain points gather and review existing data, understand your audience and establish project objectives, scope and requirements.
Design
During the ideation and design phase we generate a wide range of ideas sketches, rapid prototypes, wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes and explore different design approaches and concepts, create a comprehensive design system and make sure is aligned with the brand.
We conduct usability testing to refine the design based on feedback and iterate if necessary.
Implementation
In this final stage of the design process, I deliver the final product and collaborate with developers to ensure its accurate implementation. I conduct design reviews to ensure the final product aligns with the initial design vision and make iterative improvements based on real-world usage.
